Giò Pomodoro (1930-2002) was an Italian sculptor. He explored the potentials of form and matter, and transferred to bronze, marble and stone his intuitions and ideas, directing his research toward a more constructed and measurable space. He won prizes at the Paris and Venice Biennials.
