Founded in 1932 by Luigi Fontana, who previously owned a glass manufacturing company, and Gio Ponti, architect and industrial designer, Fontana Arte has become well-known for quality and style. Together they turned Fontana Arte into one of the most important players in the elaboration of early modernity for Italian home furnishing accessories.
