Flétissure Allègre
Flétissure Allègre, From Territoires is an original black and white lithograph realized by Jean Dubuffe t (1901 Le Havre - Paris 1985).
The artwork is the plate n. 8 from the portfolio Territoires that includes 18 lithographs, realized in 1959.
Titled on the plate.
This portfolio belongs to the exceptional cycle of the Phenomena (Les Phénomènes) realized between 1958 and 1962. In these important works, Dubuffet applied procedures such as pulverisation, irrigations and emulsion of liquids on a lithographic stone, aiming to achieve visual analogies with phenomena relating to nature and the earth.
The result is apparently abstract but at the same time realistic; a poetic classification of imperceptible events.
Good conditions.
