Maurice  Asselin (1882-1947):  French painter and engraver. Maurice Asselin is known in particular for his female figures, including numerous nudes, often captured in maternity scenes, in which he reached rare levels of delicacy. He was also the author of valuable still lifes and landscapes of Brittany, as well as a skilled watercolorist.
