Josef von Divéky (Farmos, 1887 – Sopron, 1951) was an Ungarian Graphic designer. Among his most famous works, there are the illustrations for the edition “Heinrich Heine – The Doctor Faust”.

The artwork represents a natural landscape with a bridge on the lower side; there are four naked couples of lovers on veils. On the upper side, there is a flying cupid holding a bow. The bodies of the figures are muscular and tapered.
Josef von Divéky (Farmos, 1887 – Sopron, 1951) was an Ungarian Graphic designer. Between 1905 and 1907, he attended the Academy of Fine Arts of Wien with Alois Delus; between 1907 and 1910, he attended the School of Arts and Crafts of Wien. He worked as a graphic designer in Wien, Zurich, Bruxelles and Budapest. From 1919, he lived in Switzerland; in 1941, he became professor at the School of Arts and Crafts of Budapest. Diveky worked as a designer for the Wiener Werkstätte, he collaborated with various magazines and he worked as book illustrator. Among his most famous works, there are the illustrations for the edition “Heinrich Heine – The Doctor Faust”.
