Die Festung Coburg
Die Festung Coburg is a beautiful black and white lithograph on paper, realized at the end of the XIX century by the German landscape artist Georg Michael Kurz (Herbruck, 1815 - Munich, 1883), after Ludwig Rohbock (Sulzbach, 1824 - Munich, 1893).
This wonderful modern artwork represents the Bavarian fortress of Coburg in a clear and detailed view and in a realistic way. The title in capital letters is engraved on the lower margin at the center, and the inscriptions on plate report the authors on the lower margin: " L. Rohbock. delt. / G. M. Kurz sculpt. ".
In excellent conditions, except for a usual yellowing of the paper, this original print includes a light green colored cardboard passepartout (27.5 x 34 cm).
A pleasant modern artwork to admire comfortably at home!
