Caricature  is an original etching on paper realized in the first half of the  XX century by the French    important photographer and caricaturist artist, Gaspard-Félix Tournachon (6 April 1820 – 20 March 1910), known by the pseudonym  Nadar.

The state of preservation is very good except for some foxing.

The state of preservation is very good except for some foxing.

The artwork represents a caricature by a well-known French Photographer through precise and short strokes. The artwork shows the skillful mastery of the artist to demonstrate the details, Nadar is a photographer,  caricaturist, journalist, novelist, balloonist, and proponent of heavier-than-air flight. In 1858 he became the first person to take aerial  photographs .
