Later edition of 1948. Excellent conditions. Spine a little worn. Guillaume Apollinaire was born in 1880 and died in 1918. He was a French poet and novelist, but also art critic and playwriter. He was a defender of cubism and inspired Breton for the Surrealist Movement. Also he is credited for the term "cubism" and "surrealism".
