This beautiful  Aérostat Réveillon Box  is an original decorative object realized during the second half of the XVIII century by French manufacture.

Original Tempera on parchment under glass. 

The little box was realized in Louis XVI style, also called Louis Seize: a style of architecture, furniture, decoration and art that developed in France during the 19-year reign of Louis XVI (1774–1793), right before the French Revolution.

Very good conditions.

This refined rectangular-shaped little box is decorated with scenes of events related to the flying demonstrations of the  Reveillon Revolution , invented in 1783 by the Montgolfier brothers.
