Giacomo Porzano ( 1925-2006) He first attended the Carrara Academy and then the Faculty of Architecture in Florence. Since 1959 he has lived and worked mainly in Rome. He died in Pescosolido on May 19, 2006. He participated in the Rome Quadrennial in 1965, the Venice Biennale in 1968 and was an internationally renowned artist. Among his favorite themes, in addition to the early Ligurian landscapes, we find portraits of friends, everyday scenes, common characters, all scrutinized with a keen investigating eye. He has participated in national and international exhibitions of figurative art in Italy and abroad.
