Henri-Daniel-Casimir-Paul Thouroude, also known as Daniel de Losques (1880-1915), was a French draftsman and affichiste. He first studied law in Caen before enrolling at the Académie Julian. He made his debut at Le Figaro, then worked for L'Aurore, Fantasio Excelsior, Le Matin, Le Rire, Le Monde illustré, Paris illustré and Le Théâtre on theater-related topics. In 1910, he founded the Losques studio, a printing house producing mainly posters. Serving as a bomber during the World War I, his plane, a V-110 Squadron Neighbors, was shot down on 9 August 1915 by a German Aviatik, causing his death as well as that of the pilot, Second Lieutenant Lemoine.
