Good condition included a green and white cardboard passpartout (50x65 cm).

Stamp Signed on the lower left corner.

Frédéric Lix (18 December 1830 - 23 February 1897) was a French painter and illustrator. Frédéric Lix was a pupil of Théodore Guérin and Martin Drolling at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in Paris. Alsatian painter, he composed scenes of peasants with realistic accents. He also treated the historical and religious painting. He is buried in the cemetery of Montparnasse.
