Russian native, emigrated to France, American citizen in 1952, Tchelitchew lived his last years with his life-long companion and writer “Charlie” Henry Ford in Frascati and in Grottaferrata, seduced and taken by the “sun” and the "beauty" of breathtaking Roman country landscape: “that green has a calming influence”. “Touched and moved” to the attentions of Mimì, he sends and packs his “ Veiled Woman”, a work has felt Frascati mood and is going to be a part of precious Pecci-Blunt’s art collection in Rome.
