Michel Le Tellier Autograph
Autograph signature of Michel Le Tellier (Paris, 1603 - Versailles, 1685) at the bottom of a letter by Louis XIV (hand-signed by a secretary).
The letter dates 16th May 1661 and it is written by the French statesman and State Secretary of War. It concerns a decree signed by both the King and Le Tellier regarding leading changes for the Doulina's (Aosta Valley) garrison.
One page in good condition, with a small tear below the signature on the lower margin.
