Tibor Gertler (1902-1991) was a Hungarian painter and designer. Numerous exhibitions have been published in Ostend in 1930, Lyon in 1942, Brussels in 1948, Paris in 1952, 1953 and 1966, Budapest in 1969. The last exhibition was in the Vieille du Temple gallery in 1989. Tibor Gertler realizes all portraits, brides and grooms in a figurative style with a point of impressionism. James Ensor apprehended his drawing.
The works of Tibor Gertler are on the cabinet of the stamps of the Royal Library of Belgium in Brussels, the Museum of Beaux-Arts in Budapest and the Museum of Modern Art in Paris.
