Arc International first opene in 1825 under the name of Verrerie Cristallerie d’ Arques. By 1897 the Durand family of France had owned majority share in the company. In 1948 was created Luminarc, shortly followed by Arcoroc in 1958. By 1960, Luminarc was in full mechanized production of their Luminarc stem glassware.
