Glorious Standing Mirror

Glorious Standing Mirror  is an original decorative object realized at the end of the  19th century by Chinese Manufacture.

Carved wood, polychrome painted and golden bronze, resting on two sculpturally guarded pho dogs feet, with revolving, centrally embedded mirror glass as tondo.

Beautiful Chinese manufacture table mirror, certainly reserved for a family of dignitaries. Lacquered wood, late 19th century.

Mirror adjustable by means of a fixing lever. Very good condition, signs of some missing element in one of the Pho Dogs, the result of an ancient loss.
