The shade is constructed using the traditional lead came technique, with individually cut glass segments assembled into a structured geometric framework radiating from the crown. The interior reveals a single light fitting beneath a central socket mount. The fixture is suspended by a metal chain terminating in a brass-toned ceiling canopy.

The composition reflects the enduring influence of early 20th-century American Art Nouveau lighting, particularly the naturalistic vocabulary associated with the Tiffany Studios tradition.
