The message, "this is not paradise" is a historical-literary analogy between Dido's suicide and the progressive self-annihilation of the cultural and social context, which is already poor or, in some cases, nonexistent. The reference to the story of abandoned Dido, who leaves her Carthage to a tragic fate, committing suicide for love after Aeneas's departure, is evident. This allegory is a similarity to the individualism and narcissism rooted in the citizens of this land, who have surprisingly formed a community in a square that intertwines times and places, people and symbols, where a virtuous dynamic supports the social and cultural collectivity.
