Isamu Noguchi (1904 – 1988)

The Japanese American artist and landscape architect is best-known for his sculpture and public artworks: Noguchi also designed stage sets for Martha Graham productions. He produced lamps and furniture pieces, still manufactured and sold. In 1947, Noguchi began a collaboration with the Herman Miller company. His production is still hold at the Noguchi Museum in New York City (Long Island).
