Giuseppe Viviani (San Giuliano Terme, 1898 - Pisa, 16 January 1965) was an Italian painter and engraver. Especially in the engraving he achieved exceptional results, among the greatest of the Italian twentieth century (alongside Giorgio Morandi and Luigi Bartolini), transforming his personal vision of the world into original images, with a particular predilection for the life of the Pisan coast that he knew well. In fact, he lived for a long time in Marina di Pisa, and on his death, following his last wishes, the original plates of his works were thrown into the sea off the small Tuscan coast.
