EMPHI
EMPHI, pseudonym of Mattia Pischedda, is a young Roman artist. Self-taught, Mattia has, since his childhood, demonstrated an interest in art that has always distinguished him, even though his real artistic activity began in concomitance with university. From aspirant physicist to aspirant animator, he now studies cinema at the Sapienza University. His art has the main purpose of eliciting the strongest emotions through simple compositions characterized by a few recurring elements/themes, all in the most total disinterest in any message/meaning. Art without an aim that develops and realizes itself, and it is especially thanks to this interpretative freedom that the artist opens, with no pretensions, the possibilities to infinite interpretations to the beholder: simple graphic-comics compositions; slides of life; provocation, denunciation towards women conditions in a couple relationship; all and nothing. This is EMPHI’s idea of art.
