Dax Norman

Dax Norman from Austin, Texas,

has a B.S. in Advertising from UT Austin, 

B.F.A. in Computer Animation from RIngling College of Art and Design, 

and an MFA in Art and Technology from UT Dallas.

In his career, Dax has created over 5,000 looping animated GIFs, single-handedly created a 3D animated feature film (Leptune; 2015) and a hand drawn feature (Symphony in Sweeatch; 2020)

Dax' animation art work has been commissioned by Pepsi/ the NFL, Apple, MTV, Adult Swim, Bonnaroo Music Festival, Jack U, Getter, and many others.

In March 2023, Dax' first Hollywood credit, "Only the Good Survive" premiered to fantastic reviews as an official selection at the SXSW Film Festival.

Currently, Dax is working as a visiting artist at the American Academy in Rome.
