Luciano Frigerio (1928–1999). Frigerio was an Italian designer, artist and musician. Over the years, he collaborated with famous Italian architects and designers, including Franco Albini, Sergio Asti, and Paolo Portoghesi. Luciano Frigerio directed the furniture design according to artisan specifications, with unique numbered series. This philosophy led the company from the 1970s to the 1990s to the opening of ten showrooms in major Italian cities. The showroom in via Montenapoleone in Milan, in particular, was the most refined place that combined high fashion designers with artisanal tailors. Many furniture and objects designed by Frigerio are present in important Italian and foreign art galleries.
