Disorientation

Disorientation is one of the best works realized by Alberto Sordi in 2012.

We are in Accra's Independence Square: on the horizon appear, completely out of their usual environment, two buildings in Puerto del Rosario, the capital of Fuerteventura; the scene also highlights Canarian and Cycladic statues, a traveler with a shoulder bag, while she waits for the bus to pick her up and a few passers-by of the place. In the foreground, a tourist with large glasses is spinning her head in disorientation while a man with a barcode on his suit looks at her enigmatically: the woman is bewildered as so different realities appear in a single context. The cause of everything is certainly the mysterious circle, containing a two-dimensional barcode, which stands out in the sky.
