The Instigator

The Instigator  is an exceptional and rare lithograph realized by the artist  Ivo Pannaggi  in a circulation of 100 copies around 1975 from an original drawing of the 1920s.

The state of preservation is excellent, except for some barely visible folds of the paper on the right margin at the center.

“ 54/100 ” is written in pencil on the lower left, whilst the  signature  “ Ivo Pannaggi ” is written, still in pencil, on the lower right. On the lower right, there is the dry stamp “ La Nuova Foglio/Pollenza di Macerata ”.

The 1970s are the years of rediscovery of  Futurism  in the Italian and international art critique. Thus, he drew out some original works of the 1920s and proposed them as lithographs with limited editions, just like this one.

Mechanical Composition , apart from being a beautiful lithograph, takes on a unique meaning for those who love  Futurist art  and the work of an important artist like  Ivo   Pannaggi  in the field of European artistic avantgarde.
