This artwork is from the last book illustrated by Picasso to be published during the artist’s lifetime; it was published by Albert Skira, Geneva, 1972, to illustrate the album of the same title with text by Jean Leymarie; printed at Atelier Crommelynck, Paris.

Pablo Picasso (Malaga, 1881 - Moujins, 1973) in the 1973. He was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, stage designer, poet, and playwright who spent most of his adult life in France.
