Very intense and beautiful neorealistic Italian subject depicting a carousel with children and sevreal figures in the foreground. The detail of the man that is leaning on the floor lamp. The charoscuro is very high but there is also a very high contrast between the figures and the background.

The work has been realized by the Italian artist Renzo Vespignani.  Renzo Vespignani  (Rome, 1924 - 2001)   was a painter, printmaker and illustrator.  Among the others, h e illustrated the works of Boccaccio and Kafka.
