Sofia Mattioli

Sofia Mattioli (1986) obtained a BA in Art History from John Cabot in Rome. She started working as a producer for MAI and in 2010 she moved to London to work full-time for Mario Testino, then as a freelancer on various projects from production to visual research for clients such as Paolo Roversi, Yasmin Sewell, Harper's Bazaar, M.A.D agency of Jefferson Hack, Gianni Tozzi and others. Since 2014 she has dedicated herself mainly to developing her artistic practice, focusing on film and art direction, creating projects for Chloè, Sergio Rossi, Hermes, and collaborating with musicians such as Four Tet, Jamie xx and John Talabot exploring the relationship between music and silence , memory and subconscious. In 2019 he developed 7 video installations for the Italian lexicon exhibition at the Vittoriano museum in Rome curated by Edith Gabrielli, director of the Lazio museum complex.
She is currently developing various projects in the art world with concepts focused on dance as an energy of union and transformation and feminism.
