A long explicative 8 printed and hand-written inscription in Italian: " Società Fratellanza Italiana nell'America del Sud, Repubblica di Venuezuela / sede in Valera / E.do Trujillo / É conferito il presente Diploma di Presidente Onorario al Cittadino Generale Giuseppe Garibaldi conforme agli articoli 6, 9, 17, 30, dello Statuto Fondamentale della Società Fratellanza Italiana e previa approvazione dell'assemblea riunita il giorno 18 Febbraio e 20 Settembre 1881. dato e firmato nel Gabinetto del Comitato Direttivo nella Città di Valera il dì 20 Settembre 1881. "
