This artwork represents a rooster while singing with the village's house in its background, in a well-balanced composition  by confident strokes with a bright and vivid greenish background all in a yellowish frame.  The artist's efforts indicate the perfect applying of aesthetic features.  Mino Maccari (1898-1989):  Italian writer, painter, engraver, and journalist, winner of the Feltrinelli Prize for Painting in 1963. For his pictorial work rich in evident chromatic accentuations and quick brushstrokes, the violent drawing combined with the vivid line of the graphic sign of his engravings is recognized by the complete artist criticism.
