This work was realized by Hans Przyrembel (Hall, 1900 - 1945), a German designer, gold and silversmith. Hans Przyrembel is the eldest of three children of the spouses Carl and Therese Przyrembel (née Günther). From 1915, Przyrembel completed an apprenticeship in Leipzig and was conscripted as a soldier towards the end of the World War I. From 1924 to 1928, he studied at the Bauhaus and worked there in a metal workshop. His education began with the preliminary course with Laszlo-Moholy-Nagy. During the last two years at the Bauhaus, he worked closely with Marianne Brandt on the design of modern lamps.
