Mussolini  is original black China ink and pencil drawing on ivory-colored paper, made by the Swedish illustrator and reporter  Adolf Reinhold Hallman  around 1938 ca.

On the back the blue ink stamp  "Made in Italy by Adolf Hallman, 54 Via Margutta Roma" and  description in pen.

The state of preservation is good.

This artwork created through confident and deft strokes in black ink the artist's effort in applying character's features through his expression in their faces in furious looks.  Adolf Hallman  (1893 – 1968) was a Swedish illustrator who sensibly contributed to Swedish, Danish and Norwegian newspapers and magazines, including Tidens Tegn, Dagbladet, Exlex and Politiken. Among his books is På Boulevard Europa. He illustrated editions of Charles Baudelaire's  Fleurs du Mal and Guy de Maupassant's Boule de Suif.
