This is an original drawing representing a sketch of a scene of theatrical representation of the noel Moby Dick, held at the Théatre Hébertot in Paris (as handwritten in pencil on the higher right corner).

Good conditions, except for two tears and a stain on the right margin.

Flor David  (Paris, 1891-1958), pseudonym of David Florence, was a pastel painter. She was a pupil of Desirè Lucas. She has exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Francais since 1923 and had a honorable mention at the Prix Leonie Dussueil in 1934.
