Refined and elegant portrait of Lia. The contour lines of the face, in profile, emerge from the black background. The silhouette is very refined and delicate and she has an intense gaze.

This work has been realized by the French artist and engraver Jules Lefebvre. Jules Joseph Lefebvre (Tournan-en-Brie, 1836 - Paris, 1912) was a French academic painter.
