The original artwork of 1964 was part of the portfolio  Le Goût du Bonheur  (The Taste of Happiness): A Suite of Happy, Playful, and Erotic Drawings  published in 1970 by Harry N. Abrams, Inc., New York. The portfolio consists of 71 lithographs based on original drawings by Picasso.

Our lithograph comes from the German edition published by Carl Schünemann Verlag, in Bremen, in 1998.

The artwork represents  an erotic scene with a man and a woman who is covering  her face with her hand.
