Angelo Rossini (1871–1939) was an Italian painter and engraver. Enrolled at the University of Rome, in the faculty of Architecture, Angelo Rossini abandoned his studies to devote himself to painting and engraving, following the example of his ancestor Luigi Rossini, who had been an architect and engraver. He lived in Germany, in Karlsruhe, where he absorbed the dry and precise sign of the German engravers. Returning to Rome in 1903, he moved in the orbit of the XXV of the Roman countryside, but he preferred the parks of the historic suburban villas, immersed in leafy woods. Particularly attracted by the reflections of light on the water, he traveled to Chioggia and Venice, to discover solitary lagoon subjects; then he went into small villages along the Ligurian and Neapolitan coasts.

He engraved many night views, illuminated by the moon, with a wealth of strong chiaroscuro accents. Angelo Rossini was one of the 25 engravers of the GRIA association (Gruppo Romano Incisori Artisti), organized in 1921 by Federico Hermanin, who was based in via degli Astalli Palazzo Venezia and which included Italian and foreign engravers permanently residing in the capital. In Rome he was secretary of the Amateurs and Connoisseurs association of fine arts and was a member of the International Artistic Association.
