La morte degli amanti  is a wonderful colored serigraph on paper, realized by the Italian artist  Mario Radice  and published in 1964 by La Nuova Foglio.

Hand-signed and numbered in pencil on the lower margin.  Edition of 100 prints , including 17 artist proofs, numbered in Roman numerals, out of the commerce.

This is an amazing abstract composition, realized to illustrate the poem  The Lovers' Death  by Charles Baudelaire, from  Les Fleurs du Mal . This contemporary artwork accompanies the poem, printed on Fabriano olive green paper. In excellent conditions.
