Je suis la vigne  is an original artwork realized around the  1870s by the French artist Charles Rivière (Orléans, 1848 - Paris, 1920).

Original colored gouache on paper, signed in pencil on the lower right margin.

The artwork represents Jesus with opened arms and hands, and behind him a vineyard.

Good conditions, with fresh colors.

From 1903 onwards, Charles Rivière, a friend of Germain David-Nillet, visited several times Le Faouët and painted landscapes and religious themes. He exhibited at the Paris Salon (Salon des artistes français).
