Title engraved on the higher margin, inscription on plate on the lower left margin " Andr. Scacciati inc .".

This original print comes from the Italian version of " The American Gazzetteer ", Volume II, published in Livorno by Marco Coltellini in 1763. In excellent conditions.

Andrea Scacciati (1725-1771) was an Italian artist active in Florence at the end of the XVIII century, also known for his series of etchings Disegni originali d'eccellenti pittori esistenti nella R. Galleria di Firenze , a collection of artworks after those of famous artists like Raphael, Polidoro da Caravaggio, Giulio Romano, Jacopo da Empoli, Federico Zuccari, and many others, published in Florence in 1766.
