Empire Style Mirror

This  Empire style mirror is a precious decorative object realized in Emilia (Italy) in the first fourth of the XIX century .

Splendid pivoting mirror (psicè) in walnut and briar of olive. The mirror frame is decorated with Empire leaflets. The mirror supports are fluted columns surmounted by two wooden carved and gilded eagles. In the central area, the mirror has a drawer. Supports at the base with a lyre-like base and legs that are split apart in a ferin foot in carved and gilded wood.

In very good conditions, except for a minor defect on the back of the mirror.
