Donna Piazza, literally Woman-Square, is a portrait of a young woman with her eyes closed within an urban landscape. Her eyes closed have a two-fold meaning: they can either sifnify that she is looking within herself or possibly that she is dreaming of a square. The scene is permeated by a sense of ambiguity. The metaphysical atmosphere is well represented by the beautiful figure and the colors of the square.
