Confidential Handwritten Letter Signed by Russian surrealist Pavel Tchelitchew to The Countess Anna Laetitia Pecci- Blunt, full of details as regards location, shipment, packaging, creation and source of ispiration of his “Veiled Woman” . Friendly he signed “Pavlick and Charlie”. Excellent condition.

L.A.S. (Lettre autographe signée)  Handwritten Letter Signed , addressed to “Chère Mimì”( Countess Anna Laetitia Pecci-Blunt ). Frascati (Rome), 14 dicember 1956 . One page (28,2 x 22,2 cm) on watermarked paper “Extra-Strong C.M.fabriano”, with letterhead juxtaposed “Via Candido galli, 12, Frascati (Roma) Telephone 940.587”, complete with envelope (12,2 x 15,5 cm). Confidential signature “Pavlik and Charlie”(Henry Ford), by Tchelitchew. In French. Excellent condition with usual folds on paper.

Russian native, emigrated to France, American citizen in 1952, Tchelitchew lived his last years with his life-long companion and writer “Charlie” Henry Ford in Frascati and in Grottaferrata, seduced and taken by the “sun” and the "beauty" of breathtaking Roman country landscape: “that green has a calming influence”. “Touched and moved” to the attentions of Mimì, he sends and packs his “ Veiled Woman”, a work has felt Frascati mood and is going to be a part of precious Pecci-Blunt’s art collection in Rome.
