Giuseppe Raimondi
Son of artisans, he always looked at the political and social events of his time. In 1918, he founded a literary magazine, La Raccolta , which anticipated some aspects of Ronda , of which he was the youngest collaborator. Happy that the Biennale Prize was awarded to Maccari, he wished he could paint a portrait of him and would like to meet him between Rome, Florence, and Bologna. Raimondi, always surrounded by artists, also became a fine art critic, fully understanding the works of De Pisis and Morandi.
