Vintage Art Deco Decorated Bowl

This Art-déco decorated bowl  is an original decorative object realized in the first half of the XX century. 

Original silver-plated metal work. 

Realized by Arthur Krupp , Austria.

Very beautiful and elegant decorated work realized in silver. This beautiful object presents a round shape, in the high vaulted edge there is a circular ornamental relief decoration with stylized floral and vegetal elements. 

This work has been realized by the Krupp factory in the first half of the XX Century. The Krupp factory is an important and prominent 400-year-old German dynasty from Essen and is famous especially for the production of steel, artillery, ammunition and other armaments. The family business, known as Friedrich Krupp AG, was the largest company in Europe at the beginning of the 20th century, and was important to weapons development and production in both world wars.  During the war, Krupp was allowed to take over many industries in occupied nations, including Arthur Krupp steel works in Austria.
