Vintage Art Deco Bowl and Mug

This Art Déco Bowl and Mug is an original decorative object realized in the 1960s .

The lot includes two pieces: a brass bowl  (h. 10 cm, Ø 19 cm)  and a brass mug (h. 10 cm).

Createdy probably by  Friedrich Marby . Made in Germany. The monograms of the designer and the writings "Handarbeit" are impressed on the bases.

Very beautiful pair of objects realized in a typical art déco style, both in brass. The work includes a a round handmade bowl with a high round base and 2 bead rings and a brass simple mug. Both the objects present an hammered decoration. The work has been realized by Friedrich Marby, a Bauhaus designer between 1924 and 1925.
