Set of 4 Vintage CESCA Chairs by Marcel Breuer for Dino Gavina, Italy 1970s. 

Load-bearing structure in mannesmann-type continuous tubular steel, cold-bent chrome-plated. Seat and backrest made of black lacquered wooden frame inside in Vienna straw anchored to the frame with wicker rope.

Cesca chairs was named after his daughter Francesca.

This type of chairs was produced by Gavina after Dino Gavina met Marcel Breuer in 1962 and convinced him to produce Cesca chairs again. Breuer eventually sold his furniture collection to the Italian design firm Gavina SpA.
