Manifesto published on March 11, 1913 by futurist composer and painter Luigi Russolo (Portogruaro, 1885 - Laveno-Mombelo, 1947). “Art of noises” manifesto is written as a letter to the futurist composer Francesco Balilla Pratella, author of  Manifeste des Musiciens Futuristes. The manifesto explores the origins of man made sounds, and the importance of the noise as essential element of the musical language, as well as the primary role of creativity. As all the futurist manifestos, it can be considered as a fundamental piece of italian literature in general, as well as one of the most important programmatic document of the Futurist movement. Language: French.
