The portfolio, that includes 10 lithographs on Japanese paper (various sizes) representing original artworks by Egon Schiele between 1906 and 1918, is from an edition of 600 copies, printed by Reichl & Partner, Vienna 1990 and published by Siedler Wien. Signed on plate on right margin. Perfect conditions.

This magnificent work was carried out by Siedler, an important Austrian publisher, for an important exhibition organized in Japan in 1990. It is a portrait of Melanie, the sister of the artist. This artwork shows a classicist definition system. However, beyond the traditional approach, it is visible the influence of Gustav Klimt, whom Egon dreamed to meet in those years.
