Fregoli
Arrighini Nicola (Pietrasanta 1905-1977) a sculptor of Pietrasanta (Italy) in 1930 decided to create, in white Carrara marble on black marble basis, the Mask of Leopoldo Fregoli, one of the most famous actor scriptwriter, director, but especially the most famous transformist of the world. The neologism “fregolismo” was also applied to the political transformations. Inscribed on the side: Arrighini Nicola. (a restoration has been carried out on the nose of the sculpture)
